Went for a hike up to Silverfalls State Park. Seemed like a pretty nice day when Theo and I left the house. By the time we got to the Falls it was raining pretty steadily. But we walked any way. Storms this winter closed some of the trails, including the trail that goes behind the falls shown in this posting, a trail that takes a person down the valley where there are other falls.

I wish I had been able to make the stroll with you and Theo.
Was wishin' you were there too.... really wanted to b&w the OC though.
I have hiked that trail during the summer and actually got almost as wet as you. Lots of rain in Oregon.
Thank you for visiting my blog!!Wonderful images!
Magical place...it truly is!! A fabulous series.
Great pictures. In B&W they are so graphic. Beautiful.
Love those images of the hike! Spencer and I hiked the outer trail for the first time in years just last summer. Forgot how LONG it was. It was funny though, I almost went hiking there myself that day. Dropped off some prints in Stayton, at a coffee shop that will be open in a month. Crossing fingers. Anyway, very nice pic's.
Good luck to ya Mollie!
Awesome.
