In addition to shooting the state wresting tourney, I've shoot action for the local high school wrestling team. These are some shots I messed around with in PS. The single overhead light wasn't the greatest to shoot under, but it did provide some dramatic effects. These shots were more or less throw aways that I thought might be interesting if I worked them up right. I kinda like them.

I'm glad you didn't throw them away. The drama of the single light black and white gives much emotion.
Excellent! I love the deep contrast used here. It adds an old hard look to the shots that is very appropriate for the wrestling theme. Well done!

I love the bottom one. The overhead light on their arm muscles is really great.
I love the darks and shadows in these shots.
