You have put up some great post since I've been here! The shots of elk lake are superb! The fire certainly gave you a unique photo-op also. I really like the two sky shots with all of the smoke.
I notice you refered to the 30D, since I upgraded to one I have really enjoyed shooting wildlife. I'm sure there are better cameras on the market but by coupling it with a 100-400L I have been very pleased with the results.
