HS Football
This last weekend I shot the 1A/2A/3A state high school championship football games. These 3 classifications are the smallest schools in Oregon, 1A plays 8 man. I love these games. The big college prospects are rare, the size and speed and talent isn't what it is at the big schools, but these guys play hard.

Twice
After I looked at last weeks post I see that I post the same pic twice, sorry. This is the other waterfall I meant to post. The water was/is running very low, but in the case of this waterfall, I think I like it. It definitly allowed more access to the creek bed and some different takes on the waterfall itself. Most times a person can't get out in the middle of the stram bed like this.

Griz FB
This was a big play from the UM vs PSU game. After scoring a saftey and a returning the ensuing kick off for a touchdown PSU had built up quite a swing in momentum. Here UM qb Josh Swogger scrables for 43 yards and a huge first down also putting Montana in field goal range. I like the little extra shot Swogger gives the tackler at the end of the run.

Football
Great weekend of football. Shot a local high school game on Friday night. On Saturday I shot my son's 5th&6th grade team and after that went to see the University of Montana play Portland State U. A big match-up in the Big Sky Conference, might be early to call it a conference championship, but it was the 2 top teams in the conference. Tough hard hitting game that Montana won-yeah Griz!

End of Summer
This little sunflower popped up on it's own next to these mail boxes across the street from my house. I've been meaning to shoot some shots of it for a while and was finally moved to do so yesterday. The weather is fixing to change here so I figured I'd better get the shots while it is still sunny and the flower is in good shape.
Susan, please pardon my "borrowing" your backside of the sunflower idea, imitation is indeed a form of flattery in this case =)
I know the detail shot of the mail box doesn't really fit, but I like it and it was part of the moment so I decided to include it.
