Elk Lake

Some shots from a Sunday ride. E and I braved the rain and took drive to Elk Lake, and man did it rain. You can see the drops in the pic of the lake. Even with the weather it was great to get out and take some shots, it's been really busy this month, as the lack of posts can attest.

Ted,
Very nice recent images.

Thanks for the well wishes. I'm flying up to Pennsylvania to visit some family and friends. I'll be posting some of my best images that I capture there!

Hey T-
I do not always comment, but I am always keeping an eye on your blog. Such great images! I enjoy them alot. As for farm life..yes very busy! But once rutines are established it is very enjoyable. Call us sometime, and we can go have dinner in Silverton or Stayton or something. Would love to catch up.

I've just been looking over some of your shots I've missed and wow.. I've missed some good stuff. These shots of Elk Lake are wonderful. Another place I've never visited but should from what I see here.

Some of your other shots I love too. The one of the trees in the orchard is wonderful

Well Ted, you captured the changing seasons. Beautiful shots of colorful leaves and the rushing river over the mossy rocks. I would love to go there myself.

Thanks for helping me with my decision the other day! I did it...I bought the 40D and I love it! Now Spencer has his very own camera (my old 20D), and I got him a good tripod too, so he will be playing more. Anyway, thanks again.
